Sudha Niranjan Patel

Sudha Niranjan Patel, 67, of Davidson County, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 30, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro.

She was born on January 12, 1958, in Tanga, Tanzania to Shantiben Patel and the late Govindbhai Patel. She spent her school years in Dar-Es-Salaam and then migrated to USA around 1977. Got married in 1979 and started a new journey with her husband. She was primarily a house maker but also worked hand in hand in managing her husband’s hotel business for more than 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking in park. She enjoyed cooking many dishes which she would share with family and friends.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Nishant Patel, sister, Nirmala, and father-in-law, Ranchhodji Gopalji Patel.

Left to carry her light are her husband, Niranjan Patel, of the home; mother, Shantiben; mother-in-law, Gangaben; brothers, Mukesh, Sunil, and Bipin; sisters, Pushpa, Bhavna, Rashmita, Sangita, and Urmila; sister-in-law, Lata, brother-in-law, Pravin, sister-in-law, Nita, brother-in-law, Mastikmukesh; and extended family.

Services will begin at 9:00 AM, Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
