Sudie Berrier

Mrs. Sudie Mae Leonard Berrier, 85, of Becky Hill Road, died Saturday, June 16 at the Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 18 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Clyde Akers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Berrier was born October 7, 1926 in Davidson County to Carl Grady Leonard and Jennie Lee Koontz Leonard. She retired from Dixie Furniture and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Her brother, Eldon Leonard, and her sister, Daily Michael, and her great grandson, Jesse Berrier, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Homer J. Berrier of the home; her son, Paul Grady Berrier and wife, Janie, of Lexington; Joyce Mae Essick and husband, Craig, and Betty Jean Hester and husband, Dave, both of Lexington; her brother, Elmer Grady Leonard of Lexington; her sister, Gracie Shepherd and husband, Roy, also of Lexington; her grandchildren, James Berrier and fiancée, Anita, Michelle Young and husband, Craig, Brad Essick, and wife, Ruth Ann, and Tracy Beck and husband, Sammie; and her great-grandchildren, Brittney Berrier, Brandon Berrier, Spenser Young, Eric Young, Jackson Tarleton, Riley Essick, Cassidy Craver, Hunter Beck, and Colton Hedrick.
