Sue Beck

Sue Thompson Beck, age 84, of Piedmont Crossing formerly of West US Highway 64, Lexington passed away Monday evening at Piedmont Crossing. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service and at other times at their respective homes. Sue was born in Coffee County, Alabama April 11, 1928 to Curt Thompson and Edna Ward Thompson. She was a retired employee of Burlington Furniture and attended Reeds Baptist Church and Clearview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Calvin Beck, in 2002; son, Charles Anthony Beck in 1997. Surviving are daughter; Brenda McGuinn of Lexington; sons, Eddie Beck, Stephen Beck, Andy Beck and Bryan Beck all of Lexington; 8 grandchildren, Jenna, Calvin, Rhea, Aaron, Jake, Gabe, Landon and Dylan; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Turner; 1 sister, Jean Everhart of Lexington.
