Sue Mendenhall

December 7, 1943 — June 14, 2019

Sue Kepley Mendenhall, age 75, of Clemmons went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Mallard Ridge.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Center United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home on Hickory Tree Road.

Mrs. Mendenhall was born in Forsyth County on December 7, 1943 to Ervin Elmer Kepley and Paige Shoaf Kepley. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her memory will be cherished forevermore in the hearts of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her loving husband of fifty six years, Richard Eugene Mendenhall of the home; her son, Jeff Mendenhall (Kim) of Lexington; her two daughters, Kathy Hamilton (Donald) and Stacy Hill (Tony) all of Clemmons; a brother, Charles Kepley (Vickey) of Lexington; a sister, Molly Long (Steve) of Lexington; six grandchildren, Amanda Padgett (Josh), Mason Hamilton, Hope Mendenhall, Carter Hamilton, Gavin Hill and Gracin Hill; and two great-grandchildren, Adam Padgett and Katie Padgett.

Memorials may be directed to Center United Methodist Church at 186 Center Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27295.
