Sue Mclean Wicks

Billie Sue McLean Wicks, age 83 of Alston Brook, formerly of Myers Park Drive, Lexington passed away Friday morning at Alston Brook. A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Doug Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday. Sue was born in Forsyth County November 16, 1930 to Wilton Drew and Virginia Kirkman McLean. She was a formerly employee of Peerless Mattress; a member of First United Methodist Church, the Spruill Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Wicks in 1979 and a sister, Sylvia Strong. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Wicks of Lexington; nieces, Stephanie Archer of Oxnard, CA, Melissa Burleson of charlotte and Sharon Hawkins of Wilmington.
