Sundae Renee Starnes, 46 of Lexington, died Friday September 30th at Forsyth Memorial Hospital Palliative Care. A memorial to celebrate Sundae’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday October 9th at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Pastor Roy Franks officiating. The family will be greeting family and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Sundae was born September 14, 1970 in Davidson County to Johnny and Linda Starnes. She worked in the food industry most of her adult life and never knew a stranger. She was a butterfly- a vision of beauty (inside and out) short-lived. Her spirit only saw the good in people, regardless of where they came from or who they were. She was very outgoing, sociable, loved to cook, enjoyed taking pictures, being with those she loved, tickling her two great-nieces every chance she got, and playing with her two babies (chihuahuas)-Booger and Abby. Sundae’s beautiful personality, selflessness and infectious smile will be truly missed. But, for all that had the pleasure of being touched by her charm, know she will always exist in our hearts & memories forever. And, if you should get a glimpse of an Angel fallen from Heaven, rest assured it’s her still doing things her way. Surviving are her mother Linda Starnes, three brothers, James Starnes, Bryan Starnes and Johnny Starnes; one sister, Jerri Halcomb; two nieces Rhea Hicks Pegram and Christiana Hicks Craver; two great nieces Adleigh Pegram and Elena Craver. She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Starnes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Path of Hope, P. O. Box 1824, Lexington, NC 27293. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, messages, and visits to the hospital.
