Susan Rongshan Huang Hedrick

Rongshan Susan Huang Hedrick, 46, of Ed Byerly Road, passed away Friday, August 12, at the Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, at Beulah United Church of Christ with the Rev. Trudy Irving officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The visitation will begin at 4 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Hedrick was born August 31, 1969, to Qingda Huang and Cuiyue Lu of Longan China. She was a member of Beulah United Church of Christ and a member of the Friendship Sunday School class. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Randall L. Hedrick and her father of China. Surviving are her mother, brothers, Rongzhi Huang and Qingfeng Chen; nephews, Huajie Huang and Zuxin Chen, all of China; brother-in-law, Colon Hedrick and wife Bonnie of Southmont; loving caregivers, Angie and Tony Koontz of Lexington; and her Beulah Church family. So many thanks to the friends and church family who brightened her day with love, kindness and generosity. Special thank you to the staff at Hinkle Hospice House and Davidson County Hospice staff who showed love and kindness to Susan and treated her with dignity and grace.
