Susan Marlene Kilby, a beloved resident of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on Tuesday, September 5th, 1950, in North Carolina, Susan spent her life enveloped by the warmth and beauty of her home state. Susan devoted her life to nurturing those she loved, serving as a dedicated homemaker. Her home was a place of warmth and kindness, where family and friends always felt welcome. Susan's gentle spirit and unwavering love will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Malcom Eugene Seymore, her cherished mother, Doris Elizabeth Seymore, and her devoted husband, John Kilby. Her family's memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength to Susan's surviving relatives and friends. Surviving are her daughter; Tammy Sharpe, son; David Mullies, grandchildren; Kaitlynn Sharpe and Alex Mullies and sister; Norma Messick. Although Susan has left this world, her spirit of generosity and compassion continues to inspire those she touched throughout her lifetime. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her community and loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held 4:oo PM Monday, December 23rd 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor David Robinson officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Arrangements for Susan Marlene Kilby are being handled by Davidson Funeral Home. The family extends their gratitude to all who have provided support during this time of grief. May the celebration of Susan's life bring peace to those who mourn her passing.
