Susan Lancaster

Susan Steed Lancaster, 66, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 11, 2021 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sonlight Baptist Church, where she was a member.

Mrs. Lancaster was born in Davidson County on November 1, 1954 to Charles William Steed and Betty Stewart Wicks. She was a retired CNA, having worked for Pine Ridge Nursing Home and was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Berkley Lancaster.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Johnathan Scott Steed (Tracy) of Linwood; two stepchildren, Tonia Goins (Trent) of Salisbury and Chris Shaw (Christina) of King; two brothers, Michael Steed (Cathy) of Mount Ulla, and Donald Steed of Salisbury; and a grandson, Johnathan Steed (Brittany) of Linwood.
