Susan Nickel Peterson

Susan Nickel Peterson age 72 of Winston Salem passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 3, 2014 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Scott Baxley officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Susan was born August 14, 1942 in Salem, PA to Kenneth Nickel and Wilda Peters Nickel. She was retired from Holladay Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her son, Ryan Peterson ( Debbie ) of Clemmons, daughters, Robyn Peterson Parker of Midway, Samantha Baxley ( Scott ) of Manteo, NC, brother, Gary Nickel of San Jose, CA, grandchildren, Caitlyn, Natalie, Sydney, Justin, Eden, Cameron, Lauren, Zachary, Lilly and Evelyn. The family would like memorials sent to: Hospice & Palliative Care Centers of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
