Sybil Herlocker Beal

Sybil Ann Herlocker Beal, age 80 of Allred Road in Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 30 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Greene officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service.  All Covid related precautions and restrictions will be practiced.

Sybil was born on March 19, 1941 in Stanly County to James Hugh Herlocker and Vera Mae Hathcock Herlocker.  She retired from Belk of Lexington and was a member of Thomasville Church of God.  Sybil was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by everyone.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jacob ‘Ed’ Beal; son, Ricky Wayne Beal and brother, Paul Herlocker.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Gale Moore (Joey) of Thomasville, Teresa Harvey (Ricky) of Lexington, Ann Whitehart (Bill) of Thomasville, Fran Myers (Donald) of Lexington; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and her loving dog, Baby.
