Sylvia Louia Crotts

Sylvia Lugene Louia Crotts, 66, a resident of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Hinkle Hospice Home. She was born in Davidson County on March 6, 1956 to the late Robert and Audrey Louia. Sylvia was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Larry and Gerald Louia and Sheila Slaughter and Annette.

A memorial service will be held by the family Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Higher Ground Baptist Church.  Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is assisting the family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Rich (Mark) of Sophia and Nina Prestipino and life-long partner, Charles Phillips of the home; brothers, Keith Louia (Lisa) of Hawaii, Roger Louia (Alice), and Richard Louia (Kay), all of Lexington; a sister, Sandra Smith (Ricky) of Lexington; grandchildren, Ashley Butner of Lexington, Jacob Baker of Winston-Salem, Elizabeth Beacham (James) of Concord, and Kobe Baker of Randleman; and best friends, who were more like family, Michelle Winters and Lisa Nelson.
