Sylvia Currie Ham

Sylvia Currie Ham, 77, of Robert Hargrave Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating.  Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 6-8pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Sylvia was born on March 21, 1941 in Guilford County, NC to Arnold Judson and Aileen McDaniel Currie.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Arville Ham, Sr.; and a son, Jason B. Ham, and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are son, Clinton Wayne Kellam, stepson, James Arville Ham, Jr. (Tracey); daughters, Debra Miller, Rebecca Jones (Louis), Judith Bryan, Jeanie Kellam and stepdaughters, Donna Gatena and Tracy Summers; sisters, Audrey Fields, Sue Brown, Lokie Constatino; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
