Tamara Jeaneane Cruse

Tamara Jeaneane Cruse, 61 of Lexington, passed away January 5, 2022 at her home.

A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday 15, 2022 at Rolling Heights Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim and Terry Cruse officiating. The family will see friends following the service.

Tamara was born May 17, 1960, in Mooresville, NC to Kermit Lynn Cruse and Carol Rogers Cruse. She was retired from the N.C. Department of Transportation and was of the Baptist faith. Her passion was her faith, family and especially her children, and grandchildren. Tamara love to go on road trips especially to the beach with her sister who was her best friend. Tamara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Joshua Michael Anderson and wife Mellisa of the home; daughters, Tana Pompey and husband Wil of Lexington; and Starlette Cruse of Charlotte; two brothers, Rev. Tim Cruse wife Rebekah of Monroe; and Rev. Terry Cruse and wife Lisa of Rockwell; her sister, Teffney Cruse Shearer of Concord; grandchildren, Amira, Serenity, Jayden, Sabashston, Killian, and Draven.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd’s Place Children’s Home, 2541 Old Charlotte Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110.
