Tammy Franks Gallimore

Tammy Elaine Franks Gallimore, 60, of Denton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Jackie Franks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Family will also receive friends and family at other times at the home of  her mother.

Tammy was born on April 12, 1964 in Lexington, NC to her loving parents, Ray Lester Franks and Judy Tysinger Franks, who both survive.

Tammy had a special place in her heart for animals. She dearly loved her beloved dog, Cookie. She also adored horses and enjoyed going horseback riding. She loved spending time outside in the sun, at the beach or on the lake. Most of all, she dearly loved her family.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Nikkie (Kenny) Bost; three sisters, Wendy (Parrish) Mason, Julie (Sam) Hilton, and Sandra (David) Queen; three grandchildren, Seth Shell, Haley (Christian) Shell, and Keelyn Bost, one great-grandchild, Haylin Bowens; niece, Leah (Justin) Canter and a nephew, Chase (Kristen) Hunt.

Tammy was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Franks; granddaughter, Kinsley Bost; and a nephew, Dustin Livengood.
