Tammy Gray

Tammy Carol Burleson Gray, 71, of Lexington, formerly of Burbank Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington.

The family will receive friends outside at the Funeral Home from 10 am until 11 am prior to the service.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, guests are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Mrs. Gray was born in Forsyth County on March 6, 1949 to Wade Burleson, Sr. and Mildred Starnes McLean. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Gray, Sr. and her son, Jerry Lee Gray, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Danny Connie, David Connie (Nancy), Scotty Connie (Mandy) all of Lexington, Nikki Gregory (Will) of Mt. Gilead, and Charles Allen Pierce, Sr.(Lori) of Kernersville; four brothers, Wade Burleson, Jr. (Ruth), Barry Burleson (Cindy), Joe Burleson, and Ed Burleson (Yvonne); four sisters, Lynn Bowman, Ann Brandow (Steve), Janie Miller (Jeff), and Martha Burleson; nine grandchildren, Tammy Brooke Connie, Ridge Anderson Connie, Rylee Carol Connie, Cameron Olivia Connie, Zachary Shane Miller (Whitney), Charles Allen Pierce, Jr., Colton Pierce, Kayla Pierce, and Noel Pierce; four great-grandchildren, William Lee Gregory, Jeremy James Gregory, Emma Miller and Mason Miller; and a host of nieces and nephews.
