Tamra Cope Gallimore

Tamra Cope Gallimore, age 41, of Yates Road, Denton passed away suddenly Thursday February 2, 2012 at her home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday February 7, 2012 at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis Johns officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church from 12:30 until 1:30 Tuesday prior to the service; at the home of her mother, 210 Copley Street from 6:00 until 9:00 pm Monday night and the Gallimore family at will receive at the home on Yates Road, Denton from 4:00 until 9:00 pm Wednesday.   Tamra was born in Davidson County, February 15, 1970 to Gary Franklin Cope and Holly Owens Cope.  Tamra was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School and a Graduate of Gardner Webb University with a degree in Criminal Justice. She was a Probation Officer with Stanley County and a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Franklin Cope who died in 1992.   Tamra is survived by her husband, Kenneth Darrell Gallimore of the home; her mother, Holly Owens Cope of Lexington; two brothers, Jason Cope and wife Heidi of Durham and Jeff Cope of Southmont; two nieces, Emma Cope and Courtney Cope; a nephew, Easton Cope; two aunts and two uncles.   Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Davidson County, PO Box 1791, Lexington, NC  27293 or to the donors choice.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
