Ted Wesley Leonard

Ted Wesley Leonard, 66 of Lexington, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 12 ^th at Sandy Creek Cemetery on Giles Road in Lexington with Rev. Bernie Hess officiating.

Mr. Leonard was born on June 13, 1954 in Davidson County to Tommy Virgil and Nellie-June Lawson Leonard.  He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Elaine Poole Leonard, of the home; son, David Leonard Bellie, of Enid, OK; daughters, Crickett Freeman (Bryan) and Shelia Holdaway (Jason), both of Lexington; Stephanie Bailey (David) of  Harrisburg; brothers, Jeff Leonard of Winston-Salem and Tim Leonard of Lexington; sister, Kay Caudle of Lexington and 7 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 4299 S. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
