Ted "Teddy" Bruce Cross

Ted “Teddy” Bruce Cross, 70, of Jess Cross Road, died Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be 4 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Macedonia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Max Shoaf officiating. Burial will follow. Mr. Cross was born August 13, 1945, in Davidson County, to Jesse L. Cross and Julia Tysinger Cross. He was a self-employed logger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Jessie L. Cross Jr., Ronald Cross, and Frank Cross. Surviving are his longtime companion Pansy Osborne of Southmont; brothers, Billy Cross and wife Sue and John Cross, all of Southmont; sisters, Kathy Cross of Southmont and Marie Foster of Southmont; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; David Clontz of Southmont, who he loved as his own grandchild.
