Teddy Ray Trent

Teddy Ray Trent, age 70 of Cedarwood Drive, Lexington passed away Wednesday afternoon October 25, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House.Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 30, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Mabe officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service and at other times at the home. Teddy was born in McDowell County October 20, 1947 to McKinley McClaridy Trent and Goldie Mae Griffey Trent. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Franklin Trent. Surviving are brothers, David and Jerry Trent both of Lexington; his sisters, Joann Marlowe and Kathleen Asbury both of Lexington;; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver Bill Reeves.
