Teresa Ann Brewer Burnette, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, July 30, 2026, after fighting a long and courageous battle. Through every challenge she faced, she showed incredible strength, determination, and love for those around her.
A remembrance of Teresa’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Grace Community Fellowship, 464 N. County Home Rd, Lexington, NC 27292, with Pastor Glen Dusina officiating. A fellowship lunch will follow. The family requests that flowers be sent to the above address.
Teresa was born on December 24, 1960, and raised by her loving parents, the late Ray Junior and Mae Belle Brandon Brewer.
Teresa’s courage, resilience, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Even during the hardest times, she continued to show grace, strength, and a fighting spirit that inspired so many. She taught us what it means to love deeply, never give up, and cherish every moment together.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is finally at peace. Her love, laughter, strength, and the memories she gave us will remain with us forever.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a step-son, Clint Burnette.
Survivors include her daughter, April Freund and her husband, Andrew Freund; her devoted significant other, Jerry Blanks; her cherished grandchildren, Gracelynn Freund and Trenton Freund; her fur baby, Blu; and her lifelong best friend, Billie Fowler. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
