Teresa Jones Davis

    Teresa Jones Davis, 60, of West Old Hwy 64, Lexington passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her residence.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on  Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church with Revs. Bernie Hess and Mark Rachels officiating.  Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home.   Ms. Davis was born January 25, 1957 in Davidson County to Ralph Arlen Jones and Barbara Ann Harper Jones. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a retired Teacher’s Assistant at Southwood Elementary School. She was also currently employed at Lexington Family Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her parents.   Surviving are a son, Scott Thornburg of the home; a brother, Russell Arlen Jones (Angela) of Lexington; a sister, Sherry Kimbrell (James) of Linwood; two nieces, Jamie Waddell (Anthony Hunt), Lisa Wolfe (Josh); two nephews, Matthew Jones, Alex Springer, and three great nephews, Curtis Waddell, Rylin Wolfe and Tristan House.   Memorials may be directed to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Building Fund and/or Cemetery Fund, 4299 S.
