Teresa Amanda Younts Hancock

Teresa Amanda Younts Hancock, age 67, of Winston Salem passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Trellis Supportive Care of Winston Salem.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Pastor Howard Wilburn. The family will see friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service and at other times at the home of her daughter.

She was born July 5, 1951 in Davidson County to Richard Leroy Younts and Maxine Leonard Younts. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Baptist Church. Her parents, husband, Joe (Mater) William Hancock; Stepdad, Clarence Albert Hoke; and a sister, Mary Hoke all preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Lambert and her husband Cory of Winston Salem; two grandchildren, Reuben Lambert and Regan Lambert all of Winston Salem; her brother, Clarence Hoke and sister, Sylvia Hamilton both of Lexington. She is also survived by her precious canine companion, Rosie.
