Teresa Hollifield Thompson

Teresa Thompson age 66 of Lexington passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 25th 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.   Teresa was born May 22nd 1950 in Guilford County to Leonard Gaston Hollifield and Evelyn Turner Hollifield. She was of Baptist Faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Deborah Honeycutt.   Surviving are her husband of 22 years Robert “Bobby” Lee Thompson of the home; sons, William Haga Jr. (Sonia) of Kernersville, Paul Haga (Angie Vanzant) of Greensboro, Travis Haga Sr. (Jennifer) of Tyro, Chris Haga (Tammy) of Lexington; step sons, Ricky Lee Thompson and Jeffery Allen Thompson both of Lexington; brothers, Claude Daniel Hollifield of Shallotte, NC, Leonard Eugene hollifield of Midway; grandchildren, Austin Haga, Ashley Courtright, Travis Haga Jr., Rebecca Darnell, Kodie Sterling, Julia Sterling, Erin Haga, Emma Everhart, Cayla Haga, Kristin Haga, Robert Haga, Alexander Stone, Marinna Lipford; great grandchild, Vincent Darnell; niece Deborah White Day of Lexington.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
