Teresa Leonard Tucker

Teresa Ann Leonard Tucker, 61, of Elwin Circle, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at her home surrounded by family who loved her very much.   The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 16, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Pastor Joseph Bare officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service and other times at the home.   Mrs. Tucker was born November 11, 1955, in Davidson County, to Winfred Lindsay Leonard and Elsie Etta Brown Leonard. She was a former employee at Hubbell Industrial Controls. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She enjoyed camping trips with her family at Morrow Mountain State Park where they had spent many summer weekends together. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving mother-in-law, Jackie Tucker.   Surviving are her loving husband Terry Tucker of the home; sons, Terry Tucker Jr. and Donna Rae of the home; Ricky Tucker and Ruby of Fayetteville; stepdaughters, Teresa Godesky and Vicky Newlin, both of Asheboro; grandchildren, Taylor Tucker, Hannah Tucker, Dillon Godesky, Hailey Godesky, Savannah Asbury, Emma Asbury; her brother, Winfred Lindsay Leonard and Denise of Lexington; and niece Jennifer Clouse of Chatanooga, Tn.
