Terri Dawn Lanier

Mrs. Terri Dawn Lanier, 67, of Becky Hill Road, passed away Saturday, October 19 at Davidson Health and Rehab.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Leonard Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Lanier was born September 18, 1957 in Davidson County to Cecil Barnes and Elizabeth Hepler Walser.  She retired from Stanly Furniture and was a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing and the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne Lanier of the home; her step-children, Jonathan W. Lanier of Texas and Jennifer M. Lanier of Missouri; her brother, David Walser of Lexington; her sisters, Cathy Byerly and Anne Curry both of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
