Terry Lynn Fields, 54, of Shiptontown Road, died unexpectedly after a two year illness, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Freddie Moretz and J.R. Gossett officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Fields was born September 13, 1955, in Guilford County, to Clark Fields and Betty Jean Robbins Fields. He attended Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Fields was owner of Quality Stucco. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing at the coast. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brothers, Clark Fields Jr. and Allen Fields; and sister- in-law Ann Fields.
Surviving are his wife, Dolly Marie Wilson Fields of the home; son, Jonathan Fields serving our country in Iraq; a daughter, Tara Fields of Cornelius; his mother of Greensboro; sister, Brenda Felts and husband, Mark, of Greensboro; brother-in-law Efird Wilson Jr. and wife, Kay; sister-in-law, Bonnie Hedrick and husband, Joe; sister-in-law Jill Fields of Greensboro; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that loved their uncle Terry very much.
