Terry Lane Fox

Terry Fox beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather peacefully passed on April 22, 2025 at Brockton Hospital.

The family will receive friends in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Thursday May 1st, 2025, and the funeral service will follow in the mausoleum at 2:00 PM.

Born May 13, 1947, Terry was the youngest child of Helen and Frederick Fox. Terry retired from Proctor and Schwartz as a welder. This is also where he met his wife of 47 years, Jane (Leonard) Fox. Terry was very fond of the outdoors and enjoyed spending his free time fishing, metal detecting and just sitting out listening to nature. Every Easter Monday was a special time for Terry and his children as they all received new fishing poles for Easter and spent Monday together fishing in their favorite Creek. He also made the best ribs which were requested during every visit from family and friends.

Terry brought strength, love and compassion to anyone he knew. He would do whatever he could to make sure his loved ones were cared for and taken care of. Being the Tender-hearted person he was Terry never saw anything in a negative manner. He created countless memories that will be passed down through many generations.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Violet “Jane” Fox, his parents, a daughter Belinda Tomes, a grandchild and eight siblings. While he has left this world physically, his memory and life lessons will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Kimberly Fox, Tresa Fox and Kristin Birdsong (Jerry), son James Stiers (Tracy), 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.
