Terry Wayne Kearns

Terry Wayne Kearns, 76, of Lexington, passed away October 12, 2022, at Hinkle Hospice in Lexington.

A graveside service with a celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 21, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. T.W. Bailey officiating. The family will see friends following the service and other times at the home of his brother Joe Kearns.

Mr. Kearns was born October 2, 1946, in Davidson County, to Earnest Bowers Kearns and Mary Katherine Everhart. Terry was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry, Garry, Larry, and Barry Kearns, and his sister, Martha “Sissy” Wilson.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Ernest Wayne Kearns of Welcome; brothers, Perry Joe Kearns and wife Sandy, Joel Kearns, both of Lexington; also surviving is his girl friend of 40 years, Judy Byerly of Lexington.
