Terry Lee Koontz

Terry Lee Koontz, 51, of Lexington died Thursday, November 12, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Koontz was born May 16, 1969 in Forsyth County to Dalton Klutz Koontz and Ann Koontz Tussey. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of NC State University. He worked for many years in his family’s business, Ken Tussey’s Service Station. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father, Harvey Kenneth Tussey, Jr. He is survived by his brother, Curt Koontz (Trisha) of Tenn., his twin sister, Tracy Koontz Hoover and his sister, Ava Palmer (Danny), all of Lexington; his nieces and nephews, Olivia and Tyler Koontz, Will and Drew Hoover, Sam and Alex Keith, and Jessie Murphy, and six great-nieces and nephews.
