Terry Foyell Rumfelt

Terry Foyell Rumfelt, 76, of Lexington, passed away December 11, 2023, at his home in Lexington.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Rumfelt was born October 23, 1947, in Davidson County, to David Russell Rumfelt Sr. and Annie Rhom Rumfelt. Terry was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran having served in the US Army. Was retired as owner and operator of Terry House BBQ in Thomasville after 52 years of service. Terry was a hard worker who believed in working all the time. His passion was his family and especially his grandchildren. Terry was a loving father, Grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brothers, David Rumfelt, and Verl Rumfelt.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Marci Leonard of Lexington; grandchildren, Zackary and Zeth Church, his partner, Margaret Lemly of Lexington, brother, Cecil Rumfelt of Lexington. Also surviving are special friends, Gerald and Bambi Church, Dean Art Shelton, and Belinda Martin.
