Terry Scott Shoaf

Terry Scott Shoaf 58  of  Lexington passed away Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.   A funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday March 30, 2018 at Friendship United Methodist Church where he was a member conducted by Rev. Doug Pryor and burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 10 until 11 am prior to the service and at other times at their respective homes.   Terry was born March 17, 1960 in Davidson County to Walter “Alfred” Shoaf and Peggy Grubb Shoaf.  He retired from Lexington Furniture. His mother and a brother, Johnny Shoaf preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Shoaf and Me. And Mrs. Willis Grubb.   Surviving are his father of Lexington. His cousin/caregiver, Sylvia Spurlin and his aunts and uncles, Audrey Everhart, James “Cotton” and Virginia Shoaf, Carol and Buford Phillips and many cousins and friends.   Special thanks to the staff of Grayson Creek of Welcome.   In lieu of flowers, memorials  may be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292 or to Friendship UMC New Ball Field  2840 Friendship Church Road, Lexington NC 27295.
