Terry Lynn Temple

Terry Lynn Temple, 63, of Lexington passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at his home.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Temple was born in Davidson County on July 9, 1957 to James Albert Temple and Peggy Joyce Everhart Rock. He was a self-employed lawn care and landscaper and formerly worked at PPG. Terry, better known as “Papa T” to his precious grandbabies, was such a loving fiancée, father, son, brother and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. Mr. Temple was preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Jane Kniskern of Winston Salem; his mother, Peggy Joyce Everhart Rock of Lexington; his two loving daughters, Terri “Leah” Temple and Candace Franklin (Lanny) all of Lexington; two brothers, Tony Allen Temple of Lexington and Tiz Temple (Donna) of Lewisville; a sister, Martha Leonard (Bill) of Lexington; and his four precious grandchildren, Jewel Franklin, Landis Franklin, Malachi Temple, and Liana Franklin.
