Terry Wayne Utt

Terry Wayne Utt, 60 of Oaks Court passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 5, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 8th at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Herb Mabe officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree. Terry was born in Forsyth County to the late William Oscar Utt, Jr. and Betty Lou Fulk Utt. He was a former truck driver and a graduate of North Davidson High School. He is survived by his wife Shelia Walser Utt of Welcome, one son Christopher Wayne Utt and Tammy Renee Crews of Welcome; one daughter Tracy Utt Leonard also of Welcome; three sisters, Sheila Utt Kepley and husband Casey of Winston-Salem, Kay Utt Loggains and husband Craig of Summerfield and Donna Utt MacKenzie and husband Dr. Paul MacKenzie of High Point; five grandchildren, Chase, Christopher, Tate, Taylor and Bradley. Among the highlights of Terry’s life were his grandchildren, who loved their “Poppy” very much. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
