Terry Lee Walser

Terry Lee Walser, 70 of Swicegood Rd., Lexington died Wednesday May 16, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be Sunday May 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Yadkin Baptist Church, Spencer, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Mr. Walser was born in Rowan County on January 8, 1942 to Coy Leo Walser and Louise Bigby Walser. He was retired from Lexington Furniture Industries and a member of Yadkin Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Superintendent of Sunday school and youth department. He was preceded in death by his mother; Louise Bigby Walser. Surviving are his wife of 52 years Layne Lanning Walser of the home, daughters Angela Walser Myers and husband Bobby and Jennifer Walser Parsley and husband John all of Churchland, his father of Salisbury, grandchildren Brock Myers, Kaylan Myers, Saige Parsley, Maguire Parsley, Gannon Parsley and Kerrigan Parsley, sister, Runella Walser Hayes and husband Ted of Mocksville and two special pets, Brodie and Rusty.
