Tessie Pitts Burrow

Tessie Pitts Burrow 84 of Lexington passed away at her home, May 21, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday May 25, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Tom Castillo officiating.   A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 and at other times at the home.   Tessie was born on October 10, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Emory Harlee Pitts and Vera Louise Hine Pitts. She had worked at PPG and was a homemaker. Her parents, husband of 57 years , Robert Joseph (Joe) Burrow and a brother Emory William Pitts all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two great grandchildren a son in law, Loyd Holton Jr. and a daughter in law Pamela Burrow. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.   Surviving are daughters: Iwona Dickerson of Beaufort, Patricia Burrow and Sheila Holton both of Midway. Sons: Randy Burrow of the home, Monie Burrow and Charles Burrow (Becky) all of Midway. Seventeen Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and Six Great Great Grandchildren.  Her twin sister, Lessie Hiatt of Midway   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292   The family would like to extend special thanks to The Lexington Dialysis Center for all the love and concern shown to Tessie and her family.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
