Theadora Ferguson Barnes

Theadora Barnes, 64, of Arnold Road in Lexington, died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Preacher Clyde Akers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barnes was born August 15, 1955 in Guilford County to Richard Ferguson and Joanna Joyce Ridge Milam. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Sharon Ferguson.

Surviving is her mother Joanna Joyce Ridge Milam; her husband Barry Barnes of the home; three daughters, Gwendolyn Joyce Frost (Gregory) of Concord, Barbara Dale Kirk of Lexington and Jennifer Kay Barnes of Lexington; a brother, Jeffrey Petty of Italy; a sister, Lisa Gert of Georgia; 7 grandchildren, BJ Barnes, Patrick Hemric, Salleigh Kirk, Jeffrey Mounce, Brittany Hemric, Annleigh Mounce and Emmaleigh Mounce, and 1 soon to be great-grandchild, Cooper Dale Kirk.
