Thelma Campbell Leonard

Thelma Campbell Leonard 82 of Lexington passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at her home. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ with Rev. Dave Ambroso and Rev. Jimmy Norred officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Mrs. Leonard was born January 18, 1928 in Union County SC to Jeff Campbell and Bertha Fowler Campbell. She was a member of Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ She was retired from Burlington Ind. And with J.D. Leonard Surveying Co. She graduated from Lexington Senior High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; John Druid (JD) Leonard, her brothers; James Campbell, Clarence Campbell, Charles Campbell. Surviving are her sons; Larry Leonard and wife Myra, Charles Stanley Leonard and wife Mary Louise, John C. Leonard, her daughter; Clara Elaine Worrell and husband Vernon all of Lexington. Her grandchildren; Melanie, Michael, Jeff, Niki, Amy, Hanna, her great grandchildren; Hailey, Morgan, Madison, Peyton, Isaac, Jacob, Elaina, Jessica. Memorials may be directed to donors choice.
