Thelma Elizabeth Hinkle

Thelma Elizabeth Briggs Hinkle age 84 passed away Friday morning March 6, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be 12 noon Monday March 9, 2020 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church where she was a member conducted by Pastor Andrea Bates with burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 11 am until the service and at other times at her home.

Mrs. Hinkle was born July 19, 1935 in Davidson County to James Robert Briggs and Virginia Mae Hedrick Briggs  She retired from Binnings. Her parents, husband, Willard Lowe Hinkle Sr.  and brothers, Bruce and Doug Briggs all preceded  her in death.

Surviving are sons: Willard Lowe Hinkle Jr (Deborah) and Terry Wayne Hinkle (Hoa Vu ) all of Welcome. A daughter, Patricia Diane Hinkle (Ron Allen Green) of Welcome.  Her sisters, Janice Warner (Lonnie) and Brenda Leonard (Billy).  Also surviving are three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
