Thelma Shoemaker Lambe

Thelma Shoemaker Lambe age 93  of  Lexington went home to be with Jesus. Her and our only hope of Heaven on Thursday November 30, 2017 at Brookstone Nursing Home.   A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday December 2, 2017 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by  Pastor Ron Hawkins and burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends  from 10 until 11 am prior to service and at other times at her daughters home.                .   Mrs. Lambe was born September 26, 1924 in Rowan County to Henry Arthur Shoemaker and Annie Amanda Atwell Shoemaker. She was a retired Knitter at Klopman Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Bates Lambe and  sons,  Robbie Lambe and Jerry Lambe . She was also preceded  by four grandsons, Scotty Tester, Nicky Tester, Phillip Lambe and Shaun Lambe. Preceded in death by sisters Inez Price and Annie Lambe and brothers, Frank, Kelly, Howard, Lester and Billy Shoemaker.   Surviving are a a daughter, Carolyn Tester (Odell) of Lexington. Her grandchildren, Saundra, Rodney, Anita, Tracy, Brittany,  Angie and Eric. Great grandchildren, Chasity, Megan, Caleb, Joshua, Cooper, Tanner, Wyatt, Reed, Charlotte and John Michael. Also surviving are five great great grandchildren. A brother, Clifford Shoemaker of Cleveland, N.C.
