Mrs. Thelma Leigh Tysinger Walser, 81, of Lexington, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Pine Ridge of Thomasville. A graveside service will be held 3:30 pm Tuesday, December 22nd at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery by the Rev.Wallace Cole. Mrs. Walser will lie in state at the cemetery from 3 to 3:30 pm prior to the service. Social Distancing and Masks are encouraged. She was born August 12, 1939 in Davidson County to Elwood and Mildred Tysinger. She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and retired from North Davidson Junior High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reid Bradford Walser; brothers, Bradley Tysinger, Travis Tysinger, Johnny Tysinger, Luther Tysinger, Bobby Tysinger, Jimmy Tysinger and sisters, Alta Mae Frizzell, Bertha Louya, and Jo Anne Tysinger. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Walser (Debbie)and Keith Walser (Jerree), both of Lexington; her grandchildren, Seth Walser, Joshua Walser, Anna Lashmit (Mickey), Sarah Arnold (Scott), Elizabeth Edwards; and her great-grandchildren, Paisley Lashmit, Piper Lashmit, Ashlyn Arnold, and sister, Elouise Hilliard.
