Theodore Richard, 74, of Allen Drive, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at his home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Revs. Michael L. Johnson and John Cade. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Richard was born in Lincoln County, Ga., on May 10, 1931, to Jesse Richard and Nora Harmon Richard. He was a retired employee of Metal Creations in High Point and a member of Church of God of Prophecy on East Center Street. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eloise Bobo.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Belle Cole Charles Richard of the home; three daughters, Eloise Washington of Richmond, Va., Louise Johnson of Newark, N.J., and Juilia Richard of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, E.W. Richard and his wife, Sandra, of Lexington and Merrit Stokes and his wife of Maryland; one sister, Justine Darby of Newark, N.J.; and a special friend, Clarence Bussey.
A very special thanks goes to Hospice of Davidson County staff for their dedication and kindness.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at his church and other times at the home.
