Theresa "Bobbie" Davenport

Theresa “Bobbie” Ann Hartley Davenport, age 55 of Berrier Road passed away Tuesday afternoon March 22 at her home after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and other times at the home on Berrier Road. Bobbie was born in Davidson County on January 6, 1956 to OC “George” and Viola Lenora Tysinger Hartley. She was a distribution manager with Piedmont News Agency. She loved bowling and was an avid fisher. Her mother preceded her in death. Survived by her husband John Louis Davenport of the home; two sons, Joe Weaver and wife Melissa, Shown Davenport and wife Lindsay of Lexington; two brothers, Charles Hartley and wife LuAnn of Lexington, Terry Hartley and wife Angela of Southmont; four sisters, Rita Hartley Brown, Linda Hartley Ingram both of Lexington, Laura Hartley Adams of Winston-Salem, Carol Hartley Hubbard and husband James of Welcome and six grandchildren.
