Theresa Pearson Sexton

Theresa Carol Pearson Sexton, 59, of Avenue C, Lexington, died Friday at Forsyth Medical Center.   A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 28 at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Dr. Joe D. Coltrane.    Theresa was born December 6, 1948 in Richmond, VA to Clarence Wildie “Pete” Pearson, Jr. and Virginia Mae Polaskye Pearson.  She was a former member of the Davidson County Schools Board of Education.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was preceded in death by her father.       She is survived by her mother, of the home; her daughters, Michelle Leah Brazee and husband, Wayne, of Lester Prairie, MN and Ashley Elizabeth Cotter and husband, Brian of Charlotte; her brother, Carl Pearson and wife, Suzanne, of Oak Island; her sister, Mary Palmer of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Leah, Audrey, Victoria, and Caitlin Brazee; her nephews, Wesley Palmer, and Jeffery Palmer; and her niece, Sarah Pearson.    The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at the home of her mother, 132 Avenue C, Lexington NC 27292.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, PO Box 1941, Lexington NC 27293.   Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
