Theresa Swink

Mary “Theresa” Gray Swink, 66, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Jason Koontz officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Swink was born in Davidson County on August 24, 1955, to Jesse Leroy Gray and Myrtle Johnson Gray Hathaway. She was a CNA, having worked for Bayada and attended Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Swink was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Snider.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Charles Douglas Swink; a daughter, Tabitha Lee (Kenneth) of Winston Salem; a brother, Leroy Gray of Lexington; her precious grandson, Ethan Gray (Jessica); and her K9 companion, Smokey.
