Theresia "Terry" Carlton

Theresia (Terry) Radlacher Carlton, age 82, of Cardinal Dr, Lexington, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her home.   A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Our Lady of Rosary, where she was a member since 1950, with Father Albert J. Gondek officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park.   Mrs. Carlton was born October 7, 1926 in Austria to Konrad Rodlacher and Petronella Rodlacher.  She was formerly employed with Coble Dairy and Proctor & Schwartz.  She was active member of her church, a former member of the Ladies Guild, Bazaar Group, Eucharist Ministry and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Carlton, who died in 1999.   Surviving are her son, Anthony Carlton and wife, Mirallie, of Lexington, one grandson, Dominic Lewis Carlton, and two sisters, Gertrude Weilgune of Austria and Elfride Stroup of Kannapolis, NC.   There will be no formal visitation.   Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.   Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary, 619 South Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292 or to the donor’s choice.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
