Thomas Wesley Beck

Thomas “Tommy” Wesley Beck, 72 of Allred Rd. Lexington, died Friday at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Bethany United Methodist Church by Dr. Chuck Hutchens. He was born November 3, 1933 in Davidson County to Robert Trenton Beck and Helen Link Beck. He retired from PPG Industries. He was in the US Air Force and was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Lib) Kirk Beck of the home; his sons, Thomas Kirk Beck and wife Andrea of Ohio; John Trenton Beck and wife Charlotte of Lexington; his daughtes, Susan Beck Cole of Salisbury; Lisa Beck Steed and husband James of Lexington; his grandchildren: Alex Beck & Clare Beck of Ohio; Anna Beck & Kacie Beck of Lexington; Morgan Cole of Salisbury; Dustin Garrison & Wesley Garrison of Lexington; Justin Steed & Ashley Steed of Denton; and his great grandchildren: Branden Cole & Madison Cole of Salisbury; his brothers, Harold Beck & wife Myra; Doug Beck & wife Gayle all of Lexington; and his sister, Nancy Curry & husband Frank of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at Bethany United Methodist Church and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church or to the Donor’s Choice
