Thomas (Tommy) Wayne Brigman, 65, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on January 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Shirley Anne Davis and Larry Wayne Brigman, Tommy grew up with a strong sense of loyalty, humor, and heart — qualities he carried with him throughout his life.
Tommy was a devoted father to his daughter, Kymberly Brigman, and a proud father-in-law to Nicholas Sanchez. His world revolved around his grandchildren — Aiden, Noah, Malaki, Lorenzo, and Selena — who brought him more joy than anything else in life. He loved being Papaw and made it known through every hug, smile, and story he shared with them.
He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: his sister Tammy Byrom and her husband Bob; his brother Todd Brigman and his wife Wendy; and his brother Tad Brigman and his wife Kimberly. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him and will forever cherish their memories with him.
Tommy spent many hardworking years employed at Parkdale Mills in Lexington. Outside of work, he found peace and freedom on the open road. If he was able, and if it didn’t involve his dogs, his grandkids, or his daughter and son-in-law, you could find him riding his motorcycle — one of his greatest passions.
He leaves behind his two loyal dogs, Roxie and Teddy, who were constant companions and truly part of his heart.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 31st at 12:00 PM at Reeds Baptist Church in Lexington, NC. Services will be led by Pastor Henry Watterson. Family and friends are invited to gather, honor, and remember Thomas and the love he so freely gave.
Tommy will be remembered for his deep love for family, his quiet strength, and the way he always showed up for the people he cared about. His presence, his laughter, and his steady love will be deeply missed, but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew him.
May he rest in peace, riding free.
