Thomas Edward Fine

Thomas Edward Fine, 85, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Hinkle Hospice House.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm on August 15, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church (4518 Shiptontown Road, Denton, NC, 27239) with the Rev. Franklin Myers and Rev. Freddie Moretz officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Fine was born in Davidson County on February 8, 1936 to Pearlie Edward Fine and Annie Mae Warfford Fine. He was a retired welder, having worked for Proctor and Schwartz and was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Della Sue King Fine; his second wife, Ollie Owens Fine; and a brother, Jimmie L. Fine.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Tammy Moretz and husband Freddie of Lexington; two grandsons, Brian Moretz and wife Julie and Matthew Moretz and wife Faith; and five great-grandchildren, Kylie, Gage, Samuel, Eleanor, and Nate; two step-sons, Rodney B. Owens and wife Jeroldine and Tim Owens and wife Stephanie; a step-daughter, Terri Owens; six step-grandchildren; and fourteen step-great-grandchildren.  He will also be greatly missed by his horses Snoopy and Red.
