Thomas Hunt

Thomas "Red" Carroll Hunt, 67, of Trailer Drive, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at Lexington Health Care. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Darrell Cox. Mr. Hunt was born July 26, 1939, in Virginia to Gordon Lee Hunt and Maggie Fitzgerald Hunt. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Galyean; a brother, Lawrence "Shorty" Hunt; and a sister, Ruth Anne Williams. Surviving are his wife, Ruth J. Hunt of Lexington; two sons, Thomas Lee Hunt of Lexington and Stuart Edward Hunt and his fiancée, Shelia Fowler, of Welcome; one daughter, Linda Young and her husband, Mark, of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Dustin Hunt, Christina Hunt, Tiffany Skeens and her husband, Chester, Tony Galyean and his fiancée, Marsha Hill, Tabitha Galyean, Samantha Hunt and Dominique Hunt; two great-grandchildren, Logan Skeens and Isaac Galyean; and one sister, Dorothy Driscoll of Virginia. The family will receive friends at Trailer Drive. Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.
